Due to an exciting period of business growth VMC are recruiting on behalf of our client to source an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join their Wound Management team to cover the Northern region – including Scotland, North Cumbria, Newcastle & Tyneside, Northumbria, Leeds.

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist you will work closely with the Healthcare Partnership Managers and Regional Business Managers to deliver value to local healthcare economies, with particular focus on developing advocates and clinical networks and to become the clinical expert in wound management for the organisation.

Key duties and responsibilities;
·Support both internal and external customers with up to date clinical information relating to wound management therapy areas
·Identify and engage with relevant KOL’s across the region
·Plan, organise and execute events regionally to deliver key notes and clinical exchanges to further leverage use of portfolio
·Deliver clinical presentations supporting the Healthcare Partnership Manager to develop brands within NHS protocols
·Facilitate pathway workshops to support NHS objectives in improving patient care and supporting appropriate use of the company brand
·Coordinate and deliver wound management education internally and externally at regional and national level
·Monitor clinical satisfaction with prospective and existing customers

As an ideal candidate for this role you will have the following essential skills;
·Nursing qualification and a current, active PIN
·Tissue viability or Podiatry specialist Nurse (Band 7 upwards)
·Specialist wound care experience
·Ability to build strong business relationships
·Effective presentation, oral and written communication skills
·Ability to handle complex information
·Excellent planning and organisational skills
·Evidence of writing for publication (desirable)
